The Chrystal Wifi controller is designed to increase the traditional performance of snow melting systems by efficienlty activating them before snow events.
Anticipating as opposed to reacting means no snow accumulation, even in cold climate!
HOW IT WORKS
Predicts
Our weather servers are constantly scanning the skies for upcoming snow events.

Calculates
Once a weather event is detected, our algorithms are calculating the correct preheating time based on the outdoor temperature.

Pre heats
Once the correct calculation is made, myChrystal sends a command to the controller activating a heating cycle!

Preheating Profiles
We believe that everyone is unique and so are their projects! That is why when customers select The Prescient or Astute subscription they can select one of 4 preheating profiles based on their needs and heated pavement composition.

Conservative
For those looking for energy consumption savings & are content with some snow accumulation. This profile is also used for thin paving systems.

Aggressive
For those who want no snow accumulation regardless of the outdoor temperature. This profile is also for non insulated pavements, hydronic snow melting systems, low heat output systems and paving materials of 4” Thickness)

Moderate
For those who expect no snow accumulation for the majority of the winter.

Off
When in OFF Mode the system ignores Chrystal’s algorithm and can only be controlled manually by force heating.
